Refund Policy
We want you to be happy with Spion. This policy explains when you can get a refund, how to request one, and how refunds are processed. It applies to paid Spion subscriptions (Pro and Ultra).
The short version: Try Spion free before you pay. If a paid plan isn't right for you, email us within 14 days of your payment and we'll refund it. You can cancel anytime to stop future billing. Payments and refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record.
Try before you buy
Spion has a free plan so you can test the core experience — recording a workflow and exporting it — before paying for anything. We recommend starting there to make sure Spion fits your needs.
Our 14-day refund window
If you purchase a Pro or Ultra subscription and you're not satisfied, contact us within 14 days of the charge and we'll issue a full refund of that payment. You don't need a complicated reason — if it's not working for you, we'd rather make it right.
Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically. To avoid being charged for a new period, cancel before your renewal date — you'll keep paid features until the end of the period you already paid for. If a renewal charge catches you by surprise, email us within 14 days of that charge and we'll look after it.
How refunds are processed
Payments for Spion are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through Lemon Squeezy. The refund itself is usually issued quickly; how long it takes to appear on your statement depends on your bank or card provider (typically a few business days).
How to request a refund
- Email welcome@spion.io from the address on your account.
- Include your order or receipt number from Lemon Squeezy if you have it (it's in your purchase confirmation email).
- We'll confirm and process eligible refunds promptly.
Cancellations
You can cancel your subscription anytime. Cancelling stops future renewals and keeps your paid features active until the end of your current billing period, after which your account returns to the Free plan. Your saved workflows remain yours.
Exceptions
We may decline refunds in cases of clear abuse — for example, repeated buy-then-refund cycles, or use that violates our Terms of Service. Where mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country give you stronger refund rights, those rights still apply.
